Luuk de Jong, born on August 27, 1990, in Aigle (Switzerland), started playing football in DZC’68 with his brother Siem de Jong. Luuk de Jong started his professional career at De Graafschap. In 2009, the Dutch striker signed for Twente, the club where he played until 2012 with Borussia Mönchengladbach. In German lands, he would be two seasons since PSV Eindhoven would mean the return again to Dutch football.
In the summer of 2019, he would sign for Sevilla, where he played two seasons before arriving on loan to FC Barcelona in 2021.
Luuk de Jong has won national and international titles on a collective level. He highlights, above all, the four Eredivisie and the Europa League of the 2019/20 season.
An international with the Netherlands, de Jong made his debut on February 9, 2011, and has been runner-up in the UEFA Nations League with Ronald Koeman as a coach.
